...There was a little girl who loved to write and draw. Even when all she could draw was squiggles, even when she hit that point where she only wanted to write pretentious emo-poetry and song lyrics, she loved it. Finally, she learned how to shade in those little stick figures and draw them in pastels and watercolors. She also read Silvia Plath and Edgar Poe (because you should never really say the "Allen" part), and realized that she had nothing to be emo about, unlike them, so chucked her old poems and learned how to write good, far less emo poems. Hurrah!
Nothing happened for a few years, when one day, the not-so-little girl thought that hey, wouldn't it be fun to put her stuff online? Why, yes it would! Only one problem, though: she didn't have a scanner, and she wasn't too good at computer art.
Nothing struck again for a year, then was brought down by the present of scanner from her fairy godfather (-coughunclecough-). Yes! Now she could finally get an account on that deviantArt place that she heard about and put her art online! Her dream had come true!
All she had to do was figure out how to turn on that scanner.
----
Um, yeah, hope you enjoyed my third-person tirade. I realize that I've just come off as the dorkiest girl in the universe, but hey, somebody has to be that role, right? Well, I actually do know how to turn on my scanner, I just need to find some pictures that I like to scan.
Oh, incase some nice deviantArtist who does computer art reads this, does anyone know what sort of art program I should buy for my computer? Thanks!
